If you already didn’t know, ESPN throws an annual awards ceremony called The ESPYS. I’ve never really watched The ESPYS for the same reasons why I never watched The Emmys, The Academy Awards, or The Golden Globes.
They’re all boring, pointless, and just a place where the pretentious are awarded for, well, being pretentious. But things done changed!
The People’s Champ was recently nominated TWICE for an ESPY: “Best Fighter” and “Best Play.” I don’t know who he’s up against but would there really be a question of who should win?
The good news in all of this really is the fact that fans get to vote. So I suggest you get to voting! Here’s the link:
